ESPA Review and Testing Now Free at EHX

Falls Church, VA — Thanks to the generosity of a sponsoring partner for the Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA), the Certified-EST review course and testing scheduled for EHX Spring in Orlando next week now will be free to participants.

This offer is one-time chance to help technicians who have never been certified use a brand-new entry-level industry certification. The ESPA review course covers electrical basics, tools, construction methods and materials, wiring and installation practices, and standards, codes, and safety practices. The course is primarily aimed at currently employed ESTs who need a refresher to help pass the exam.

Open to all ESTs as part of the CEDIA University track, the ESPA Certified-EST review course will be held Saturday, March 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The two-hour exam begins that same day at 3:30 p.m. The review course is a $299 value, and the certification exam would normally cost $199.

ESPA’s entry-level certification replaces the CEDIA Installer Level One and NSCA C-SI certifications and provides the foundation for workers in residential and commercial AV, IT, lighting, automation controls, security, telecom, cable, and satellite industries.
