Savant Systems has Fusion Research to its Excellence in AV cooperative program. The goal of the initiative is to achieve global compatibility between Savant’s ROSIE control systems and other manufacturers from the audio, video, lighting control, HVAC, and security industries, as well as devices and subsystems from many related markets.

Fusion Research provides media server solutions to both commercial and residential markets through CEDIA installers.

“Fusion Research makes a premium media server solution that is sought after by both our dealer network and discerning end-users,” Savant president Jim Carroll stated. “It was only natural for us to make certain that our systems are capable of interfacing with the complete line of Fusion Research products.”

Savant has a one-way IP profile available immediately for all models of Fusion’s media servers.

Participation in Savant’s Excellence in AV cooperative program will facilitate the seamless integration of Fusion Research’s device protocol within the Savant system environment, according to the company.

“We are pleased to be able to address our dealers who had been calling for compatibility with Savant’s automation and control systems,” Fusion VP of sales Ingo Schmoldt stated. “We are confident that our products will now operate seamlessly within Savant’s control environment.”

The core of Savant’s technology is an open programmable platform supporting UDP/IP, TCP/IP, RS-232/422/485, and IR serial communication, and low-voltage trigger outputs.
