GoVision Bolsters Sales Team for GoVisionTV Launch

GoVision, a full-service provider of large-scale LED video displays and related services, has hired Chris Pruet, formerly of CSP Marketing, as CEDIA channel sales manager.

GoVision, a full-service provider of large-scale LED video displays and related services, has hired Chris Pruet, formerly of CSP Marketing, as CEDIA channel sales manager. In his new position, Pruet will lead the launch of GoVisionTV to the CEDIA channel.

GoVisionTV is an innovative new LED video product for the residential and commercial hospitality markets. It was named a Best of Show product by TWICE Magazine at CEDIA 2016 in Dallas.

Pruet brings more than two decades of experience in the channel, covering every facet from integrator, to distributor, to national sales manager, and most recently, as principal of CSP Marketing, where he covered the Texas market.

“For 23 years, I’ve been very fortunate to have worked in different sectors of the industry,” Pruet said. “This experience, and in particular my understanding of the ways to overcome obstacles in the manufacturer and rep relationship, have positioned me well for this new challenge in launching GoVisionTV. I’m really excited to work with Chris, Kevin, and the entire GoVision team on this exciting new product introduction.”

Pruet was introduced to GoVision through a mutual integrator friend, Todd Wilcox of ProConvergence. This led to the design of the completely outdoor-rated GoVisionTV product specifically for the CEDIA channel.

“Adding a custom feel to our products is nothing new, but bringing the technology to the CEDIA channel is,” said Kevin Faciane, executive vice president at GoVision. “We’re very excited to have designed and created a product to fill a key void in the industry, and honored that Chris has officially joined us to help lead the way! We believe GoVisionTV is just the first of many innovative solutions we will be creating for the CEDIA market.”

GoVisionTV offers homes and businesses the larger-than-life LED video screen experience that until now has been mostly reserved for concerts and sports stadiums. The personal, jumbo LED screen, designed for outdoor viewing, is completely weatherproof (IP-65-rated), viewable in full sunlight (greater than 5,500 nits), contains integrated speakers and multiple inputs, and is compatible with most existing home and commercial audiovisual systems.

Pruet is preparing to head out on the road with his sales team in the weeks ahead.

“We’re planning a massive road show to bring the GoVisionTV experience to markets all across the nation!” said Pruet.
