HAI Adds New Language Support for Pronto Remotes

New Orleans, LA — Home Automation Inc. (HAI), the manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products, is offering a new ProntoScript integration module for the Philips TSU9400, TSU9600, and TSU9800 Pronto remotes. It is now available in Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, and German language versions as a free download.

Pronto Link allows integration with Ethernet-enabled HAI Omni and Lumina family controllers and the Philips Pronto remotes. Current foreign language versions of HAI’s Pronto Link software include Italian, French, Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew in addition to the English and English demo version.

HAI will demonstrate the new Latin American Spanish and Portuguese versions during its “Introduction to Home Automation” Spanish language trainings to be held April 24, 2009 in conjunction with the Expo Seguridad show in Mexico City, Mexico. Additionally, HAI will be demonstrating the new language versions of Pronto Link and its’ award-winning security products at Expo Seguridad in Booth 728, April 21-23, 2009.

“HAI is happy to be releasing these additional languages in conjunction with Expo Seguridad”, explained HAI Mexico, Central America, and South America sales manager, Jeram Correa. “This really helps our international dealers who desire language-specific HAI interfaces. The Pronto Link additions show our continued support for the international market.”

Pronto Link allows a homeowner to use a single remote to control his home theater; adjust lights, temperatures, and security settings; and control multi-room audio systems, such as the Hi-Fi by HAI system. Screens are preprogrammed so an installer can easily merge the HAI functionality into a standard ProntoScript project. Pronto Link uses secure, encrypted Wi-Fi to exchange commands with the HAI controller.

Pronto Link is a free download from the ProntoScript for Philips Certified Installers portion of the Philips Pronto website, www.pronto.philips.com/prontoscript or at HAI’s Knowledge Base support site. Login is required to download the file. A demo version of Pronto Link is available to simulate interaction with an HAI controller for sales purposes.

HAI products are available through a worldwide network of Distributors and installing dealers in over 80 countries. For more information on HAI’s Pronto Link or HAI’s “Introduction to Home Automation” training classes to be held in Mexico City, visit www.homeauto.com or e-mail [email protected].
