Home Technologies Expanding HQ

Home Technologies has signed a lease for a new showroom and operations center in Bellevue, Washington. Staff will move to the new facility in Q1 2005; the showroom will open in fall 2005.

Bellevue, WA–Home Technologies, a leading residential systems integrator, has signed a lease for a new showroom and operations center in Bellevue, Washington.

The 18,000 square foot facility will enable Home Technologies-Bellevue, the companys largest location, to consolidate operations under one roof. The Home Technologies-Bellevue operations staff will move to the new location in the first quarter of 2005 with the showroom grand opening planned for fall 2005.

In addition, about one third of the facility will be used to open the regions first complete showroom offering consumers and the trade an opportunity to view the latest residential systems.

The Home Technologies showroom will be staged to offer consumers and the trade; builders, architects and designers, a street of dreams-style technology experience throughout the year. The showroom will house at least three dedicated home theaters to display advancements in audio and video capabilities plus special vignettes to demonstrate the integration of home entertainment platforms such as PCs, video games and the Internet. Dedicated displays will showcase: lighting control and shading systems, security and communications/networking plus control systems for integration.

Lee Travis, Home Technologies Inc., CEO and chairman of the board, confirmed his support and enthusiasm for the move. “There are many reasons why this is the right move for Home Technologies right now, and the most important two are that it enables us to consolidate our Bellevue operations under one roof, in a more efficient setting and second, it provides us the opportunity to launch the regions first complete residential systems showroom in a highly visible location.” Travis added, “We look forward to providing consumers and the trade, an opportunity for a street of dreams-style technology experience, year around, so that they can make more informed purchase decisions.”
