Louisville, OH–H-P Products Inc. recently became a sponsor of the Masco Environments For Living (EFL) program, which sets a standard for builders to design homes that are more durable, comfortable and energy efficient than conventional home design.
Employing the principles of building science, the program prescribes a set of specifications for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, ductwork and the outer shell, or “building envelope,” that encases a home’s living quarters. H-P Products’ VACUFLO central vacuums are designed to keep a home’s air free from dust, debris and other floating contaminants, helping to create a cleaner, healthier home. The VACUFLO system works by transporting 100 percent of vacuumed dirt, debris and dust particles through a network of tubing that runs through the walls. Masco Corp. is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of brand-name building and insulation suppliers for the home.
