HTA Starts GoFundMe Campaign for CI Firm Hit by Hurricane Ida

Owner of integration firm frayednot in Cranford, NJ, suffers damage to his home and busines.

The Home Theater Association (HTA) has put out a call to help one of our own who was hit hard by Hurricane Ida. Both Constantinos Sandoukas’ home and his business, frayednot, in New Jersey suffered damage, and he could use our help.

Sandoukas has been interviewed by Residential Systems several times, and offered advice for his fellow integrators on subjects that include selling high-end audio installations and improving your company image.

From the HTA-created GoFundMe page for frayednot:

The Home Technology Association is asking for your help and support for one of our brothers in need. Hurricane Ida hit both Constantinos Sandoukas’ home and his business in New Jersey and we are asking for your help!

For those of you who know Constantinos Sandoukas of integration firm frayednot, you know what a great guy he is. Super friendly, positive, looks out for others, and bends over backwards to take care of his clients. The world needs more people like him!

frayednot’s motto, “Never left stranded.”

This video shows his basement flooding:

He lost his primary work van and the power tools within it. Even though he has flood insurance, he’s finding out the hard way about the ridiculous loopholes insurance companies are using to not cover things that logically should be covered. His wife’s car? Totaled!

We’d appreciate any help you can give to get Constantinos back on his feet. Some fellow HTA family like Jamie and Jeff Briesemeister of Integration Controls and Michael Restrepo of Restrepo Innovations have already reached out to lend Constantinos a hand. Very heartwarming! Let’s help a brother out!
