Ella is a deep-learning video search engine that augments surveillance systems with natural language search capabilities across recorded video footage. The solution, offered to the security and surveillance market by IC Realtime, is hardware agnostic and works with both existing DIY and professional installed systems to outfit installations with video search capabilities. Within the new role, Perez will be responsible for the oversight of new features and app rollouts under Ella. Additionally, Perez will oversee operations and staffing within the Ella intelligent video search division of IC Realtime. “Jorge is a passionate, focused, and results-driven sales leader with years of experience in software as a service application as well as commercial and residential security systems, CCTV, and integration,” said Matt Sailor, CEO for IC Realtime. “His reputation within the industry speaks for itself and we’re very excited he’s joined the IC Realtime team as the head of our Ella department at a time when the industry is ripe for innovation.” Prior to joining IC Realtime, Perez was a co-founder of an ADT authorized dealer in South Florida that grew into one of the top 10 dealers within the nation.
