ICEpower, a DOEM amplifier manufacturer from Denmark, has expanded its popular ASC series with three new amplifiers: 300ASC and 300AC which are 300W in 4 ohm modules and 700ASC which is a high power 700W in 4 ohm module. All the new amplifiers utilize ICEpower’s patented HCOM modulation and control technique for audiophile sound quality.
The 300ASC and 700ASC combine a high performance class D amplifier with a universal mains switch mode power supply for hassle-free worldwide operation. Furthermore, the amplifiers feature ErP compliant standby functionality, auxiliary power supplies, wake on signal sense, 5V and 12V triggers, status LED indicators, and a DC-bus output for powering additional ICEpower 300AC amplifiers. The amplifiers basically include everything needed for a subwoofer, an active loudspeaker or a high-end amplifier.
The 300AC module is essentially the amplifier part of the 300ASC. It is designed to be a “hanger” module that can be powered from the DC-bus output of 300ASC, 700ASC, 250ASP or 500ASP (from the ICEpower ASP series). This means that a combination of these modules can be used to create anything from a subwoofer to a stereo amplifier or a 2- or 3-way active loudspeaker.
The amplifiers are designed and manufactured with ICEpower’s trademark quality and reliability and all relevant protection features to ensure music at all times.
While 300ASC and 300AC are entirely new products in terms of design and components, their size and connectors are identical to their predecessors, the 200W amplifiers 200ASC and 200AC. This means that customers who previously have used 200ASC and 200AC now easily can upgrade their audio application with 100W more practically without any integration effort.
If an audio manufacturer needs high power but not universal mains and standby functionality, ICEpower has also launched 700ASX, a 700W amplifier with integrated power supply. 700ASX is similar to 700ASC but with fewer features which introduces 700ASX as a cost-effective solution.
The amplifiers are available now.
