Juno Lighting Group, a subsidiary of Schneider Electric has earned ENERGY STAR label for several products within its Indy Designer Series of LED downlights for commercial applications.

The ENERGY STAR program is led by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy as a national effort to assist consumers and buyers in choosing the most energy-efficient, environmentally friendly products that consume fewer resources and provide significant cost savings. To earn the ENERG STAR label, commercial lighting products such as the Indy Designer Series LED downlight portfolio must meet a list of rigorous energy efficiency and quality criteria, and use at least 75 percent less energy and last 35 times longer than incandescent lighting.

Within the Indy Designer Series of LED downlights for commercial applications, the four-inch and six-inch round and square recessed downlights, nine-inch cylinders with clear specular, clear semi-specular, or clear satin reflectors, 1100lm or 2000lm light engines and 3000K, 3500K and 4100K color temperatures are now qualified for the label.

“Juno Lighting Group is committed to creating state-of-the art products that provide superior levels of quality, functionality and style while incorporating components that reduce energy consumption and environmental impact,” said Jeff Spencer, director of product management – commercial. “The distinction of earning the ENERGY STAR label for the Indy Designer LED Series is a testament to our commitment to sustaining our environment, without compromising performance or aesthetics.”
