Just Add Power to Bring ‘Guitars for Vets’

Just Add Power (J+P) will be giving away custom-designed guitars for the second year in a row at CEDIA 2017, September 7-9 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Just Add Power (J+P) will be giving away custom-designed guitars for the second year in a row at CEDIA 2017, September 7-9 at the San Diego Convention Center. At the show, J+P will give attendees the chance to win one of four custom guitars built by Dean Zelinsky Guitars in Highland Park, IL.

In addition to giving away the guitars at the booth, the company will gift eight guitars to U.S. veterans through the Guitars for Vets program. Attendees can enter to win at J+P’s booth 2713. J+P is also hosting attendees at a special entertainment event with Fan Halen on September 8 at the House of Blues San Diego.

“While we expect a busy CEDIA, which is a lot of work, this is also a time of celebration for the company,” said Ed Qualls, president, J+P. “We look forward every year to the chance to give back to our customers as well as our veterans. We’re proud to bring the guitar giveaway back for a second year.”

Since 1976, Zelinsky has been designing custom guitars for some of the most recognizable recording artists in the world. He has made guitars for famous rockers such as Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill (ZZ Top), Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne), and many more. His patented guitars are sold direct from deanzelinsky.com.

Zelinsky has a strong relationship with Guitars for Vets. Founded in 2007, Guitars for Vets donates guitars to veterans, helping them readjust to life, cope with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder, and find hope through the medium of music. The unique Z-Glide neck on the guitars that Zelinsky creates has allowed J+P to add a custom twist to the design by customizing the neck carving.

J+P is also rolling out the red carpet with an invitation to party with Fan Halen. Sponsored with RTI and Luxul, attendees can get tickets by stopping by booth 2713.
