KA Marketing Marks Expo a Success

Manufacturer's representative firm KA Marketing hosted its Product Line Expo last month in Dallas.

Dallas, TX–KA Marketing, a manufacturer’s representative servicing Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, hosted its Product Line Expo, March 2, at the United Leather facility in Dallas. The attendees of the event included KA Marketing manufacturers and many of their local dealers.

“The success of our product line expo illustrates the importance of bringing dealers and manufacturers together, outside of the hectic tradeshow schedule,” said Andrew Ard, president of KA Marketing. “This event allows our manufacturers to spend quality time with our local dealers and understand what they’re ‘dealing’ with in terms of their product offerings. I am pleased to see that this gathering brought in attendees from the farthest reaches of our territory, such as Louisiana and Oklahoma.”

The KA Marketing Product Line Expo showcased four separate rooms for one-on-one manufacturer demos, presentations on business services represented by KA Marketing, and a main showroom where table top presentations and discussions were held throughout the day. Manufacturers had designated time slots to feature their products and answer dealer questions.

A representative from each of KA Marketing’s lines, including Athena Technologies, APC AV, Vidikron, Da-Lite, Runco, Triad, AudioControl, Russound, T+A, Mirage, Tivoli Audio, Energy Speaker Systems, WireWorld, and Niveus Media, was on-hand at the event to share times with their dealers. In addition, seminars on multi-channel and hi-res music downloads were offered at the MusicGiants Airstream demo trailer which was also on-site. Individual plant tours of the United Leather factory were also given upon request.

According to Robert Cothran of Sound Ideas, a dealer in Fort Worth, Texas, the Expo was a huge success. “As a CI company with little or no showroom space, Expos like this afford us the opportunity to sample a wide variety of products. This was an excellent show. It was very informative.”

“Its like a personal CEDIA show that provides you quality face time with key manufacturers without a schedule to stick to,” stated Richard Huesi of Architectural Entertainment and Audio Concepts of Houston, Texas. He added, “We spent over 20 minutes one-on-one with Jim Burns from Runco and learned so much more than at any other show or training event.”
