KEF showed a variety of custom install solutions designed for home theater use at its booth, including some new additions to its product lineup. In its Extreme Home Theater in-wall LCR range, the company highlighted its lower-end 4100QL speaker, which recently received THX Select 2 certification, its three-way Ci3160RL and five-way Ci5160RL, and the two-way Ci200RR, which the company positions as ideal for in-ceiling Dolby Atmos use, with 170-degree sound dispersion made possible by its Uni-Q driver.

Making their debut at the show are two new 8-inch in-wall or in-ceiling subwoofers, both due to be available in December: the shallow Ci200TRb with 50mm mounting depth, and the THX-certified square Ci200QSb-THX. KEF also debuted the five-way Ci5160REF-THX, which brings the build quality and standards of the company’s Reference Series to the architectural speaker category, and is slated to begin shipping in early 2017 for $10,000 each.
