Klipsch Announces Strategic Partnership with Resonado Labs

The announcement precedes the launch of Klipsch product line featuring Resonado technology.

Klipsch and Resonado Labs have announced a strategic partnership to develop a new line of Klipsch home audio solutions integrating Resonado technologies. Together, the companies aim to define the next era of audio by developing a line of products engineered to deliver the highest output possible in sleek and compact form factors.

The world of audio has changed dramatically in the past two decades with the advent of new technologies, the diversity of available audio products, and the increased prevalence of audio in the average person’s daily life. By 2026, soundbars alone are projected to top $12B in annual sales globally. Consumer demand has shifted to audio products that take up less space and provide a full acoustic range in a single package.

Resonado’s flagship technology, Res-Core, was designed to address this industry shift. Res-Core was engineered to deliver high-performance audio in compact form factors. The technology represents the first step in Resonado’s pursuit of providing listeners everywhere with unprecedented sonic immersion by innovating at the core.

“Resonado takes a radical approach to innovation,” says Brian Cho, founder of Resonado Labs. “Our design-driven methods led us to challenge the assumption how high-excursion speaker drivers could and should be designed. Identifying an opportunity to deliver full-frequency sound in small form factor speakers led to the development and patenting of our core technology. Paul W. Klipsch, in his approach to overcoming the limitations of the existing technology in 1946 by developing his legendary horn load speaker, inspired me to reimagine how a speaker driver could be designed to introduce the next generation to better sound.”

Klipsch has remained an American icon through decades of change by relying on founder Paul W. Klipsch’s underlying sound principles and philosophy to reproduce the power, detail, and emotion of the live experience. While others prioritize secondary features, the two companies are aligned in delivering big, powerful sound straight from the hardware — and Resonado is enabling Klipsch to extend this philosophy to a series of compact new products.

“I am inspired by the incredibly talented group of entrepreneurs, engineers, and designers at Resonado Labs,” says Paul Jacobs, president and CEO of Premium Audio Company. “By incorporating their cutting-edge transducer technologies, we will deliver a state-of-the-art, design-centric collection of products unlike anything Premium Audio Company has previously done.”
