Electrical installation firm Legrand has hired industry veteran Steve Iommi as product manager. Iommi will be responsible for the company’s On-Q home automation and RF lighting control product lines.

In a statement, Legrand VP and general manager Fritz Werder said, “Steve brings a tremendous background in home automation to Legrand. He understands the customer and how to effectively channel their needs into products which will help our installers be more competitive and more successful overall. His proven track record and familiarity with automation is well-matched for some of the innovative solutions installers can expect to see from us in the next year.”
Iommi brings almost 30 years of home automation and control experience to his position at Legrand. Most recently, Iommi served as the business and product development manager for Somfy Systems, a maker of automatic control solutions for window coverings.
