Nuvo Player Portfolio from Legrand
Legrand brought a wide array of new products for the residential custom install market to its three booths at CEDIA 2016.
Middle Atlantic (racks, equipment mounting and power solutions), Nuvo (whole home audio systems), On-Q (smart home solutions, infrastructure & AV connectivity), and Vantage (lighting and climate control) were featured in a combined booth, while Luxul (residential IP networking solutions) and QMotion (advanced shading solutions) exhibited at separate booths.

Luxul exhibited a new series of scalable routers that enable integrators to lay a foundation for virtually any size network. The company showed switches, which are available with a range of features and form factors—including the AV Series for clean integration with AV rack systems. The Luxul Wireless Controller and Access Points offer roaming, excellent coverage, and solid performance for an outstanding Wi-Fi experience.
Middle Atlantic’s Proximity in-wall box gives installers maximum mounting capacity behind displays. New Vision Display Mounts provide safe, reliable display mounting with professional features for efficient installation and storage of technology behind the display. RSH Custom Rackshelves are now available in a 1RU design—with patented UMS designs—for small device mounting and an easy, face-after design. Power Distribution with RackLink, now available in new budget-friendly form factors, lets installers remotely manage projects to save time while adding service value for the customer.
The Nuvo Player Portfolio is a whole home audio system designed for the professional market and offers high fidelity sound, third-party integration, extensive source variety and complete control with in-wall keypads and iOS and Android devices for maximized listening experiences. The system’s offerings continue to be enhanced with the recently introduced driver for Universal Remote Control (URC) systems, as well as the soon to be introduced P4300 Professional Series Player, soundbar, subwoofer, and keypad controller models. Nuvo Series Two, Four, and Six speakers are made for professionals and offer models for every space, project, and price point.
On-Q’s Intuity Home Automation System gives production homebuilders and installers serving the mainstream housing market a cost-effective, modular, repeatable, and affordable solution for controlling entertainment, security, and comfort within a home. It can be operated via mobile devices, in-wall Command Centers and PCs, and offers integration with Legrand’s wide range of subsystems, as well as those of some third party manufacturers. On-Q High Speed Cables with Ethernet are tested and verified by the Premium HDMI Certification Program and are ensured to deliver the full 18Gbps bandwidth necessary to support 4K UltraHD devices.
QMotion’s Qadvanced shades with ZigBee Home Automation V1.2 are the only shades with native ZigBee communication capabilities built into the motor, providing robust two-way communication, long battery life, and a manual override feature. Qadvanced Intelligent System Hardwired Shades use CAT-5e or CAT-6 cables for both power and communication, offering power savings with optional adapters for most pre-wired systems and support of up to 200 devices.
Vantage’s new Universal Dimming Station and Module provide effective and seamless dimming control of multiple lighting sources in wired or wireless applications. They are load agnostic and offer auto-switching between forward and reverse phase loads. Equinox Touchscreens and Mobile Apps offer consistent user interfaces across all platforms for enhanced interactivity and intuitive lighting, climate, and shade control.
