Legrand Home Systems has announced multiple organizational shifts which, according to Doug Fikse, president of Legrand, are “designed to create a clear focus and direction on the Legrand Home Systems brand, leverage the key skill sets of standout performers to better serve Legrand channel partners and integrator customers, and improve our long-term product-centric strategies and tactics.”

Effective January 1, 2012, Fritz Werder is the vice president and general manager of Legrand brand of Home Systems. Werder will take on the responsibility for operations, engineering, product management and development, manufacturing, marketing, customer service, technical support and all service elements of the Legrand brand.
Additional Home Systems organizational shifts will expand the role of Bob Fallert, vice president of sales, beyond distribution sales to include both the Retail and e-Commerce segments of the marketplace.
Dave Hanchette, currently vice president marketing for Legrand Home Systems, will join the Vantage brand team as vice president international business development with the goal of expanding the Vantage position in existing markets while developing new market opportunities.
Werder has been a strong contributor to the Home Systems Division of Legrand for over a decade. He joined Legrand with the acquisition of Greyfox in 2002, with continued internal growth in the operations and facilities areas. By 2009, Werder had earned a position on the executive staff, holding the position of vice president operations, and was responsible for the division’s operations, purchasing, facilities and information technology. Werder will continue to operate out of Legrand’s Middletown, PA facility.
Mr. Werder, Mr. Fallert and Mr. Hanchette will continue to report to Doug Fikse as members of the Legrand Home Systems executive team.
