Legrand is offering a new IR camera kit for video captured in low-light conditions.

Legrand’s new CM1029 and CM1030 Color IR Camera kits provide sharp, detailed full-color video regardless of ambient light levels, according to the company.

“Our engineers worked long and hard to make sure the new IR camera kits offer one of the best price-to-performance ratios in the business,” said Fritz Werder, vice president and general manager of Legrand brand of Home Systems. “I am happy to report that the quality of the video is nothing short of remarkable, especially when compared to other low-light options. The release of this new product means our installers can now provide their customers with yet another reliable, technologically advanced security solution.”

Legrand engineers infused the new camera with 24 Light Emitting Diodes (LED) for sharp images in nearly any lighting condition. A professional-quality 3.6mm lens guarantees that images are rich and detailed, while the extensive LED array returns bright, dynamic images that give end-users a sense of security, 24/7.

The IR camera features an illumination range of 20 meters, and a waterproof plate shields the camera from the elements. An adjustable sun shade further aids overall image quality during daylight hours.

Legrand’s CM1029 Camera Kit includes the IR camera and waterproof plate, while the CM1030 IR camera kit includes the same materials as the CM1029 plus a Legrand Camera Module (CM1011).
