Legrand to Purchase On-Q Home

Legrand has announced its intent to acquire On-Q Technologies. On-Q Home and Legrand's Greyfox business unit will then be brought together to form On-Q/Legrand.

Harrisburg, PA–Legrand will acquire On-Q Technologies, known as On-Q Home, based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On-Q Home and Legrand’s Greyfox business unit will be brought together to form On-Q/Legrand, and position itself as a leading provider of solutions for the connected home market.

After the acquisition, On-Q/Legrand becomes the fifth business group of Legrand in North America.

Founded in1999, On-Q Home (www.onqhome.com), a privately-held corporation, develops and markets systems for shared broadband internet access, wireless connections, multi-room audio and video distribution, home theaters, and home controls for lighting, heating/cooling and security.

Established in 1994, Greyfox (www.greyfox.com), a business unit of Pass & Seymour/Legrand since 2001, develops products that enable the network of entertainment, security, communications and computer systems within the digital home. Greyfox systems support high-bandwidth, two-way voice, video and data communication.
