LeisureTech Electronics Expands to the U.S.

Australia-based LEISURETECH ELECTRONICS has expanded its Forté Electronics brand of audio products to the U.S., appointing Steren Electronics as our first US and Canadian distributor.

Australia-based LEISURETECH ELECTRONICS has expanded its Forté Electronics brand of audio products to the U.S., appointing Steren Electronics as our first US and Canadian distributor.

Managing director Andrew Goldfinch said, “LEISURETECH has been a manufacturer of quality audio products and accessories since 1991. In 2007 we introduced the Forté Electronics brand to market our products worldwide outside the U.S. where most of our manufactured products have gone into the OEM channel. These partners market a limited range of A-BUS sku’s pertinent to their customer base. Under the Forté brand, we have a very wide range of A-BUS modular components available that enable installers to tailor systems to almost any requirement. Over the years A-BUS has built up a following of very faithful installers who love the simplicity of our modular ‘plug and play’ approach that our technology offers, the extensive Forté range will offer even more flexibility to installers.

“With some very exciting new products in our development pipeline, it is time for us to put the distribution of Forté on a more substantial footing. This includes the introduction of the Forté brand to the USA appointing Steren Electronics as our first US and Canadian Distributor. We are expanding our international representation with the appointment of Joe Manning of international sales as our representative for South America, Asia and Oceania. In a joint venture with our UK distributor Aldous Systems Europe, we will be expanding our current European distribution to include Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa with warehousing of product for these markets in the UK.”

Scott Sylvester LEISURETECH’S U.S. representative added, “With the widest range of A-BUS products available, and soon to grow even more, the Forté range will open up many new opportunities for the audio distribution market in the U.S. and Canada. One good example has been the recent growth in demand for audio distribution in MDU’s which require cost effective solutions for only one or two rooms. Forté A-BUS modules can deliver efficient one room or up to 50 room solutions that are simple to install and are space and energy efficient.”

Russound and Channel Vision remain valued A-BUS licensing partners, with both continuing to introduce new products. Their recent introduction of Bluetooth local input modules providing local music sourcing to take advantage of the growing mobility of music sources, have highlighted the unique flexibility of A-BUS technology. These products can be retrofitted to any A-BUS system regardless of brand or age.
