Santa Ana, CA–SRS Labs Inc., has announced that LG Electronics has chosen SRS Labs as its non-exclusive audio enhancement provider.

The new licensing deal with LG Electronics, a long-time licensee of SRS Labs, is for use of SRS’ TruSurround XT and SRS WOW audio technologies across its entire lines of televisions and monitors through the year 2010. While SRS Labs has multiple audio technologies for set makers to consider, the two leading SRS audio technologies most often licensed for use in televisions are SRS TruSurround XT virtual surround sound and SRS WOW audio and bass enhancement solutions.
