Carlsbad, CA–Linear LLC has acquired OmniMount Systems of Phoenix, Arizona, a designer and supplier of A/V equipment mounting solutions for both residential and commercial applications.
According to Linear, OmniMount’s products complement the offerings of other Linear brands: ELAN Home Systems speakers, SpeakerCraft speakers, ChannelPlus A/V distribution systems, OpenHouse structured wiring products and Xantech residential IR remote controls.
“This is another strategic purchase for us,” stated Linear president, Grant D. Rummell. “OmniMount brings us new offerings to package and cross-sell with our other consumer electronics products. And a knowledgeable team of professionals that further expands our depth in this industry.”
OmniMount’s current position in the industry is strong, according to Garrett Weyand, president. “We are extremely excited by the opportunity this presents to OmniMount. We have been experiencing tremendous growth over the last two years and this alliance will assure that we continue along that upward curve.”
