LiteTouch has released their Remote Access Application for controlling lights remotely, available for use from any web browser.

LiteTouch’s Remote Access App is now accessible from any web browser, optimized for use on mobile devices.

The application was released for Apple iPhone, iPad and iTouch in late 2011.

Remote system access is now accessible from any web browser, optimized for use on mobile devices. After securely logging in users to turn on and off lighting scenes, measure current energy usage and get system status from anywhere in the world. A ‘favorites’ feature allows users to mark frequently used functions and move them to a Favorites screen for quick access.

LiteTouch Remote Access requires set-up by an Authorized LiteTouch dealer or distributor. Access codes are purchased from LiteTouch per project, and there is no limitation on the number of devices that can be linked to the access code. There is no annual renewal or maintenance fee.

“The popularity of our Remote Access App for Apple devices has certainly driven us to introduce this a web version where customers can access their LiteTouch system from their Blackberry devices, Android devices or laptop computers,” said Angie Larson, vice president of sales and marketing. “The number of current system owners adding remote access functionality to their older LiteTouch systems has been surprising, in fact several systems that were upgraded this year were more than a decade old.”
