Lutron Announces Third-Quarter Classes

Lutron Electronics third-quarter training classes are designed for A/V dealers and installers.

Lutron Electronics has finalized plans for its third-quarter training classes, to be held throughout the U.S., beginning in July. The schedule is as follows:

Sivoia QED for Residential Systems Installers VA: 7/16; CA: 8/28;

2 Days – Ashland, VA, Cost: $200

2 Days – Irvine, CA, Cost: $200

Youll spend two days learning about Lutron’s Sivoia QED products for roller shade, roman shade and drapery applications. Well give you a solid understanding of shading fabrics, and the tools to select the right fabric for installations that require solar, privacy or blackout shading. Well cover hands-on shade installation and programming, which includes an understanding of shade and control wiring and bracket hardware. A special emphasis will be placed on integrating Sivoia QED Shades into Lutron’s HomeWorks and RadioRA Residential Systems. Knowledge of other residential Lutron lighting control products is required to succeed in this course.

Who should attend
A/V dealers and electrical contractors who are existing Lutron Residential Systems Providers or A/V dealers will benefit from learning how to add Window Shading to their home integration capabilities.

This seminar immediately follows Selling & Designing Daylight Control Systems and brings a hands-on approach to shading concepts and Sivoia technology. Youll spend two days gaining an advanced understanding of motorized shades from application, design and installation perspectives. Youll learn how to wire and troubleshoot AC motor group controls, and learn how to integrate them with Lutron Lighting Systems and A/V systems.

This 4-day seminar is the most advanced course for the RadioRA product line and will expand a custom automation dealers understanding of lighting control solutions. This course utilizes open discussions on technical specifications, product positioning, application and sales/marketing as well as hands-on product workshops to demonstrate both programming and design. Dealers walk away confident they can handle even the most demanding customer request. We will also evaluate .the applications and technical capabilities of Spacer System, GRAFIK Eye and Sivoia QED. Upon completion you will be recognized as one of Lutrons prestigious RadioRA Preferred Systems Providers.
