To help residential specifiers, including architects and interior designers, understand the importance of offering sustainable technology products within the growing retrofit remodel market, Lutron Electronics is offering free accreditation trainings for its RadioRA 2 wireless light and shade control system.
The first day-long, hands-on training class was held July 26 at the company’s Experience Center in Plantation, Florida.
The class was designed to arm progressive residential specifiers with the necessary product knowledge, marketing techniques and specification tools needed to promote light and shade control to the emerging “tech savvy” mid-market, focusing on retrofit applications.
Those encouraged to attend include interior designers, architects, builders, remodelers, lighting designers and kitchen & bath dealers.
Attendees will participate in several RadioRA 2 education modules, including a product knowledge session and a design and specification software workshop. A module on energy standards and pending energy legislation is also offered. Specifiers who complete this course will be among the first “RadioRA 2 Qualified” specifiers, earning individualized access to Lutron’s innovative, RadioRA 2 Designer Software tool, enabling quick, professional and effective specifications.
