Manufacturers’ Road Show Hits Mid-Point

Lexington, KY — ELAN Home Systems, with sister companies Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON announced today that its ‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ Road Show ’09 has surpassed expectations at mid-point, reaching more than 2,000 dealers with feature previews and demonstrations of the four brands’ 42 newest products.

The companies’ 45-city North American tour is leveraging a landmark product launch year as well as the introduction of major new selling promotions to help the Group’s Dealers meet marketplace challenges head-on.

Covering major cities across North America, the Road Show is breaking new ground in technical product marketing. Participants across the board are impressed with the proactive outreach the ELAN group of companies is offering to best reduce dealer time and travel costs. To date, close to 90 percent of the tour’s seats have been filled, reaching a total of more than eight times the number of dealers that attended the group’s last product summit.

“The Road Show has turned out to be an unbelievable way to connect with our dealers,” said Paul Starkey, ELAN’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Going mobile has allowed us to tear down conventional classroom barriers and bring all four ELAN companies’ new products and marketing tools to our Dealers’ doorsteps with special selling programs and cohesive options that work for everyone. This is simply the best event we have ever produced.”

Among the 42 products debuting on the tour and generating high levels of dealer excitement are the new HomeLogic Mobile Control app for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch, Sunfire’s TGM-100 Theater Grand Media Server, and ELAN’s Elios Speaker line. Additionally, ATON continues to steal thunder with its HDR44 HD Video Router, DH44 Digital Audio Router and Amplified Touchpad.

With only four weeks left in the ‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ Road Show ’09, limited seating is still available in Portland, Charleston, Seattle, Vancouver, and Calgary. Dealers are being given free admission with advance registration, and special tour-only promotions are being offered to attending Companies. Prizes are being awarded to attendees at all sessions. Following the close of the tour there will be a major drawing where 11 lucky road show attendees will win one of an array of prizes including a Dealer Day with ELAN’s president Bob Farinelli and an all expenses paid trip to Chicago to see the Doobie Brothers in concert. Prizes also include four major systems from ELAN, Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON and four iPod touches.
