Meridian has named John Buchanan to the role of chief executive. Buchanan has been part of Meridian’s management team since 2007 and has worked globally across all areas of the company’s business.
Bob Stuart, chairman at Meridian, observed, “John has proven himself to be a strong organizational leader in his role at the head of our consumer products business, and his appointment as chief executive continues the important work necessary to accelerate Meridian’s growth.”
John Buchanan replaces Tim Ireland as chief executive of Meridian.

After almost seven years in a leadership role Tim Ireland has decided to leave Meridian. The company thanked Tim for his passion and commitment to Meridian and the positive changes he has overseen in his time with Meridian.
