New York, NY — Meridian has appointed Brad Paulsen as the national sales manager for Meridian. He formerly served as national sales manager for Sooloos, which was recently acquired by Meridian. In his new position, he will service both Meridian and Sooloos accounts.
“With Brad’s more than 30 years of audio experience coupled with his extensive knowledge of Sooloos systems, his appointment continues the process of bringing the two companies together,” said Walter Schofield, president of Meridian America. “Brad brings humor, compassion, and excitement to our outstanding team, which already includes some of the best in the business: Norm Steinke, VP of sales for Meridian America and Ken Forsythe, director of technology. “It’s important that our level of expertise in the field aligns with the level of the products we offer, and we believe the team now in place is ready for the challenge.”
Paulsen had served as national sales manager for Sooloos since September 2007. Best known for his work with B&K Components, he transformed B&K’s training and sales programs preparing them for success in the CEDIA channel. Before entering manufacturing, Paulsen owned his own hi-fi store in Santa Barbara, California.
