Monster has appointed veteran product marketing executive Tracy Benson to the newly created position of global vice president of marketing and web.
Tracy brings over 13 years of experience in traditional, native digital and brand marketing to her new position at Monster, as well as proven expertise in retailing, e-commerce and data analytics. She will oversee the global brand and product marketing activities for all Monster product lines, as well as web marketing and e-commerce.

Prior to joining Monster, Tracy served for the past two years as senior director, Best Buy U.S., where she was responsible for leading Best Buy’s U.S. Portable Business Unit, overseeing consumer marketing strategies, marketing product mix strategies, visual design and planning and promotions across a multi-category portfolio. Before that she was Best Buy’s senior director, Digital Marketing, Interactive & Emerging Technologies, where she was accountable for the U.S. Digital/Interactive Brand Marketing, developing and executing growth strategies to define and build out Best Buy’s digital, social, and mobile innovation funnel. At Best Buy, she created consumer value propositions, App strategies, Facebook, and Twitter platform strategies, including social community management systems and content creation processes. She joined Best Buy in 2007. She also brings 7 years of prior advertising and digital agency experience to bear in her new role, along with a wealth of business acumen, retail and consumer marketing knowledge to the Monster team.
