The partnership between Monster and HES will officially kick off at CEDIA 2011. Earlier this year, HES merged with the PRO Group, forming a CE buying group with 550 retailers and over 1,000 storefronts across the country.
As an HES Primary Accessories Provider, Monster will work with the buying group and its members to ensure that all Monster products — including connectivity solutions, power conditioning products, flatscreen TV mounts, headphones, mobile accessories, and more — are merchandised and promoted for maximum sales. Monster is also creating a specially customized version of its M5 training program, specifically designed for HES retailer members.
“Independent retailers, custom integrators and specialty retailers have always been a very important and valued part of Monster’s business,” said Noel Lee, CEO of Monster. “Thanks to this new alliance, we will now be using HES as our primary distributor for specialty retail in the future, and while we will still conduct direct business with retailers in the segment, we will now be able to combine our strengths with those of the HES distribution system to service HES dealers with faster shipments of goods, larger quantity orders and other enhanced efficiencies. This alliance ensures that Monster will be the strongest supplier of goods to this channel, and we look forward to helping HES members build profits and grow their businesses.”
