Nest Labs, Inc. has hired former vice president of sales and marketing for Tradewinds Climate, Eugene LaNois, as head of the professional channel.
LaNois will be integral in expanding the company’s wholesale distribution and establishing strategic partnerships within professional trade industries, including custom integrators.

Gene brings his background in helping professionals grow their business while launching products into the trade channel. He will be instrumental in bringing the trade perspective to Nest.”

LaNois has 22 years of HVAC experience, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing at Tradewinds Climate where he launched Gree duct-free split systems. He has founded and managed his own professional mechanical contracting business, served as company director at Carrier Enterprise, as well as key positions at Honeywell ECC. During his career, LaNois has created numerous private label HVAC products.
