Citing the rising popularity of video chats with personal computers and home conferencing systems, ClearOne says it will immediately begin offering its products, including speakerphones designed for both web-based and conventional telephone conferencing, for residential sale through its NetStreams dealers.
NetStreams is ClearOne’s residential brand of professionally-installed audio-video distribution and control systems.

Goddard added that trends in personal communications have created a potential synergy between ClearOne and NetStreams. “There are going to be some NetStreams dealers who can immediately capitalize on being able to offer their customers personal and home video conferencing products from a top brand like ClearOne,” he said.
Goddard noted that NetStreams dealers will have access to an extensive library of resources and training materials developed to support commercial market sales of ClearOne conferencing products and systems. The product lines to be offered for residential sale include INTERACT, MAX, CHAT, and CHATAttach, as well as related accessories. Goddard said the company expects that the CHAT and CHATAttach series of products, which consist of USB speakerphones for personal and group use, will be ClearOne’s most popular conferencing products among residential customers.
