Incline Village, NV–The developer of the newest community of luxury residences in Incline Village, Nev. is doing something no other company in the state has done–offering an integrated control system as a standard feature of every new single-family home.

Scott Properties Development Company, a commercial and residential property developer in Lake Tahoe for the past 15 years, and Incline Creek LLC, have selected products from AMX, for their Incline Creek Estates community. With a control system from AMX, every homeowner will be able to manage and automate their audio/video equipment, interior and exterior lighting, heating and security system from one central location.

“Incline Creek Estates is a luxury town home community designed with the second and third homeowner in mind,” said Terry Moore, co-developer of the project, Scott Properties Development Company. “We provide turn-key convenience for the discriminating buyer, and the AMX technology will enable our customers to control all the major functions of the home with a touch of a screen.”

“Scott Properties is a technology trailblazer in single-family residential development,” said Scott Norder, AMX executive vice president of business development. “Incline Creek Estates is one of only a few single-family residential developments in the country offering a fully integrated control system with every home. As builders and developers continue to look for new ways to differentiate their properties, we believe many more will recognize the value of control and automation.”

Using one of two AMX 10-inch Modero Touch Panels installed in their homes, or via a secure Internet connection, residents will be able to quickly and easily communicate with the AMX NetLinx Integrated Controller, which acts as the nerve center for the control system. By selecting graphical images on their touch panels or computer screen, homeowners will be able to centrally access their equipment for maximum convenience and simplicity. This can include changing the temperature or lighting of a room, playing a CD or DVD, turning on the TV or arming the security system.

Scott Properties selected AMX dealer Domus Technologies, based in Reno, Nevada, to integrate the control system into each home and to design an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical interface for the touch panels.

“For the Incline Creek Estates project, we designed a best-of-the-best whole-house solution utilizing Lutron Homeworks lighting control, AprilAire thermostats, and a GE Security system, all of which is integrated with AMX technology. Each homeowner also has a choice of entertainment packages that integrate seamlessly into the AMX system,” said Mark Fielder, president, Domus Technologies

Incline Creek Estates is located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe in the heart of Incline Village. In total, the development will include 68 single-family homes, with completion of the first building phase expected in Spring 2006. Homes in the community range in size from 2,489 to 2,594 square feet and start at $1.25 million.
