Milpitas, CA–Niveus Media Inc., a digital media entertainment solutions company, has received funding from Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of Intel Corporation. Details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Niveus will use the funds to expand its product line, technologies and marketing efforts in the custom home electronics marketplace. Niveus’ current line of media centers, which include the Rainier, as well as the company’s flagship product, Denali, and Denali Limited and K2 Editions–all based on Intel Viiv technology–allow consumers to create, store, and access their digital media anywhere in the networked home.
