NuVo Adds Language Support to Multi-Room Systems

Hebron, KY — NuVo Technologies has added Spanish, French, and German language support to its Grand Concerto and Essentia E6G multi-room audio systems. With some simple programming from the installer, users of these systems will be able to choose menu options in English, Spanish, French, or German through their Control Pad interfaces.

“Music is truly the universal language, and we’d like to bring it to as many of the world’s homeowners as we can,” said David Rodarte, president and chief operating officer of NuVo Technologies. “By enabling our dealers and users to interact with our multi-room audio systems in their own words, we’ll be able to provide pitch-perfect experiences for more people than ever before.”

When configuring a Grand Concerto or Essentia E6G system, a NuVo dealer now can choose to use English, Spanish, French, or German. Once the configuration is downloaded, the system automatically switches to the selected language.

The new language support, free of charge, is built into the latest version of NuVo’s NV-I8G (Grand Concerto) and NV-E6G (Essentia E6G) Configurator software, which NuVo dealers use to configure each system that they install. To upgrade existing systems, authorized NuVo dealers should download Version 2.50 of the NV-I8G and NV-E6G Configurator from the NuVo ProZone www.nuvotechnologies.com/prozone. The language conversion is a simple drop-down menu selection.

Following this initial rollout of support for Spanish, French and German, NuVo will provide support for additional languages on a continuous basis over the next 18 months. Latin root languages will be the first grouping. NuVo’s software development team also will prepare additional language groups that possess their own set of characters, such as Asian and Arabic.
