NuVo Technologies’ new director of engineering, John Minnick, will lead all product development, as well as product testing, release and support to manufacturing, for the Hebron, Kentucky-based manufacturer.

“We are so pleased to have John on board,” said David Rodarte, NuVo’s president and chief executive officer. “His past experience in bringing high-technology products to market will prove an incredible asset as we continue to grow and look towards future innovation. His personal passion for audio makes him a natural fit with our company and our culture. His experience in compressed product development cycles will be a great addition to the creative team.”

With more than 15 years of experience in managing product development and manufacturing, Minnick comes to NuVo from WorldSpace Satellite Radio where he held the position of vice president of engineering since 2006. Prior to WorldSpace, he worked for such companies as Eastman Kodak, Micros Systems, 3e Technologies International, and Gibson Audio.

Throughout his career he has continuously worked to elevate process efficiency and streamline resource management for the successful launching of over 40 high-technology products in various fields, such as imaging, computers, wired and wireless networking, audio consumer electronics, and consumer digital satellite radio.
