NuVo Tech Launches New Education, Service Initiatives

Hebron, KY — Multi-room audio manufacturer NuVo Technologies has outlined a wide variety of new education and service offerings for its dealers. These new programs deliver additional value to NuVo dealers and end users during a period when time and resources are at a premium.

“A growing number of custom installation firms and their clients are gravitating to NuVo because of our strong value proposition,” said David Rodarte, president and chief operating officer of NuVo. “Our mix of outstanding features and performance with reasonable pricing is winning us fans and market share. The new education and service initiatives we’re announcing today further bolster our standing as the true value leader in this category.”

The new education and service offerings include a nationwide training tour with new advanced classes for established NuVo dealers, enhancements to NuVo’s Web-based training, and extended service hours.

The NuVo Know HOW Hands-On Workshop Tour 2009 kicks off in Columbus, Ohio, on March 24, and ends on June 17 with classes in Houston and Providence, R.I. All told, the tour will visit 21 metro areas, up from 14 in 2008. For a full schedule, see http://www.nuvotechnologies.com/training09.

New on this year’s Tour in most stops is a choice between a $79 Know HOW Complete course and a $39 Know HOW Advanced course. The eight-hour Complete course, designed for dealers and installers who are new to NuVo, provides complete knowledge of NuVo products, installation and programming; students earn NuVo Platinum Certifications. The new three-hour Advanced course, created for experienced dealers and installers who are already NuVo Certified, offers an in-depth look at recent additions to the NuVo product line, as well as tips and tricks designed to help students step up their games in the field.

All Know HOW classes earn valuable CEDIA CEU (Continuing Education Unit) credits and offer hands-on experience with real NuVo products. They are limited to 16 seats, so early registration is encouraged.

In addition to the Know HOW Tour, NuVo is offering trainings at this year’s Electronic House Expo in Orlando. Dates and times can be found at http://www.nuvotechnologies.com/ehx.htm.

NuVo has also enhanced its convenient online education services for dealers. NuVo University has been revamped with new interactive Flash-based training modules. NuVo’s interactive live Web trainings continue, but past trainings are now available in a new Training Archive. Interested parties can access these Web-based services by signing up for the NuVo ProZone at http://www.nuvotechnologies.com/prozone.

Finally, NuVo recently expanded its telephone service hours. The toll-free number now operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm ET.

“With integrators’ time and resources more precious than ever, NuVo wants to be as flexible as possible to meet our growing dealer base’s needs,” said Steve Horton, NuVo’s director of education. “This unprecedented combination of in-person and web-based training, as well as expanded service hours, demonstrates our full commitment to our dealers, their end users and the marketplace in general during these difficult times.”
