NuVo’s Concerto Now Shipping

Concerto presents NuVos new Generation D utilizing the D Amplifier from Philips Semiconductors. The system provides 80 watts to six powered listening zones and provides two additional non-amplified zones for use with auxiliary amplification to serve large listening areas. The use of digital D Amplifier allows the Concerto system to operate at peak efficiency, requiring low power and generating little heat.

The Concerto system is configured and customized using the Concerto Configurator software. NuVos EZ Port integrates the systems Cat-5 wires so installation requires just a single network cable to the amplifier. Fixed and variable lineouts are available on every zone for use with an additional amplifier.

Concertos programmable display pad offers dual-gang design with backlit buttons and a vacuum fluorescent display. Macro command capabilities allow users to make a series of commands with one push of a button, and additional “hotkey” functions let the user easily set zone-specific commands, such as a “do not disturb” command, parental keypad lock, and a whole-house master “party mode.” The display pad menu permits control of treble, bass, and balance in each individual zone.

For large, open living spaces, such as a kitchen, dining room, or great room, a grouping feature enables up to four groups of display pads to share the same source selection while maintaining individual volume control.

The Concerto System package retails for just $2,999. The package ships with the Concerto Generation D six-source, eight-zone amplifier; six display pads, each with white, ivory, and almond cover plates; six IR emitters; an EZ Port multi-port connection plate; and network cable.
