Oasis Home Theatre Seating recently launched a new website, www.oasishtseating.com, and has appointed Helena Coito as sales coordinator. Coito will assist with the day-to-day operations at the company’s Ontario, Canada headquarters.

Since its inception in 2006 by former Irwin Seating Company home theater executive Rose Pefhany, Oasis has marketed its own brand of entertainment furniture, and is the sole distributor of Irwin’s home theater chairs.
Bringing Coito onboard enables Pefhany to devote more time to collaborating with dealers, interior designers and homeowners on seating styles and floor plans, Pefhany says.
Rose Pefhany“Most times we can get more chairs into the room than often realized, by combining product styles; using loungers in the front, and matching club chairs or theatre-rockers in behind. This is where the marriage between the Oasis and Irwin products proves to be a tremendous benefit,” said Pefhany.
“It is also important to know and understand architectural and design guidelines to ensure platforms are built to adequate size and strength to allow for safety and proper sightlines.”
Oasis stocks Irwin models like the Quinta, Ambassador and Performance VIP TheatreRockers and Springfield, Davies, Marquee, Sports and Outdoor models.
Oasis builds and sells the luxurious, award-winning Performance VIP and Ambassador loungers — formerly Irwin models that Pefhany had a hand in designing during her employ with manufacturer Irwin — as well as the Quinta and new Sterling loungers.
