OmniMount has promoted two employees in an effort to strategically align its sales department for focused growth over the next year.
Tracy Knapp has been promoted to the general manager of sales, professional products. Concurrently, the company also promoted Greg Anthony to the general manager of consumer sales, western division.
Knapp has been with OmniMount since 2006 and will now be responsible for the day-to-day business of the professional division and oversee all of the commercial rep firms. “OmniMount is dedicated to being a one-stop shop for our customers, providing quality professional products across all categories,” Knapp said. “I’m committed to leveraging that to grow our commercial products division, as well as continue to provide excellent service to our commercial rep firms.”
Knapp brings more than 25 years experience in the consumer electronics and commercial industries to his new position. Before joining OmniMount, he was with Toshiba America as the western regional sales manager.
Anthony has been with OmniMount since 2007 and will now be responsible for all aspects of dealer development, rep management, and budgetary compliance for consumer accounts from the Mississippi to the West Coast. His 25 years of sales and marketing experience includes sales management for multiple CE manufacturers, territory management as an independent manufacturer’s rep, CE category manager/buyer for one of the largest e-commerce retailers, and CE retail management.
“Both gentlemen have shown tremendous growth during their tenure at OmniMount and their dedication and passion have been evident to all,” said Alex Robertson, the senior vice president of sales and marketing for OmniMount. “These promotions are key to the new sales strategy for our business and both Tracy and Greg will play a critical role as OmniMount grows.”
