Harrisburg, PA–On-Q/Legrand and Vantage/Legrand have formed a strategic product alliance to solidify the companies leadership positions in the home systems market.
On-Q/Legrand will continue offering branded home system technologies through its distribution channel to reach the starter to semi-custom home market. In addition, On-Q/Legrand will market UStec products including the ceLAN and iLAN series under the On-Q brand to improve availability through national distribution.
Vantage/Legrand will begin offering its customers a high-end line of structured wiring products starting with the UStec proLAN series that will be marketed under the Vantage brand. The company will continue to offer its branded home systems direct to dealers to reach the luxury home segment. Vantage will leverage On-Q technologies, as well as other technologies available through Legrand North America, to continue to develop its structured wiring line.
This strategic alignment demonstrates Legrand North Americas focus to strengthen its position in the residential home systems market, said Steve Schoffstall, vice president of marketing, On-Q/Legrand. This move provides On-Qs distribution partners structured wiring solutions designed specifically for the semi-custom market while On-Qs installers can take advantage of increased availability of the ceLAN and iLAN series sold under the On-Q brand.
Vantages custom luxury home client base will enjoy an even fuller home automation experience with the addition of the proLAN series to our product offering, said Andrew Wale, vice president of marketing, Vantage/Legrand. Additionally, the new structured wiring solutions will enhance the companys product line and provide added value and convenience to our dealers.
On-Qs iLAN and ceLAN products will be available in distribution by January 1, 2008. The proLAN will be available direct to Vantage dealers beginning January 1, 2008.
