Origin Acoustics’ Jeremy Burkhardt announced the company’s latest products at a press conference on Wednesday, highlighted by the introduction of a line of architectural speakers co-designed with Bang & Olufsen that will be sold exclusively in 700 of the Danish company’s retail locations worldwide.
Jeremy Burkhardt“This is the largest punch the arm architectural speakers have got in the last 20 years,” Burkhardt said of the B&O partnership, as he expects it to help grow interest in the category.
Also announced was the launch of the Environment Correction line of DSP amplifiers for indoor and outdoor systems. Available in 3×100- or 3×700-watt models, the amplifiers feature software that is designed to allow users to easily master tuning their home’s sound.
Other new products previewed included the Weather X grille, rated for 10,000 hours of rust-free durability, a reusable new-construction bracket, and modular pendant enclosures for the company’s Director series speakers.
