OSD Audio has appointed Tim Leahy to head the company’s North American sales.
Leahy, a seasoned leader in the consumer electronics industry, brings a wealth of experience to the growing manufacturer and online retailer of outdoor speakers, in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, and whole-house audio products and accessories.
Leahy will work on both the manufacturing side with OSD Audio and the company’s online distributorship outdoorspeakerdepot.com. His experience spans both car and home electronics, including 15 years with Phoenix Gold, first as a sales manager then as director of sales and marketing for their home division, which included AudioSource, Phoenix Gold Innovative Home, and Carver Professional. He also worked in the whole house audio market as a western regional sales manager for NUVO and Breath Audio. Most recently Leahy was the strategic sales and marketing manager for North America for Ultralink/XLO products.
According to Leahy, one of his first priorities will be to combine the company’s proven e-tailing track record with channel sales and unexplored territories such as traditional brick and mortar stores.
“OSD Audio and outdoorspeakerdepot.com are the new frontier of CE,” said Leahy. “I’m looking forward to expanding on the company’s already successful strategy and opening new markets as well.”
