Pacific Northwest Consumer Electronics Expo Moves Portland Venue

The Pacific Northwest Consumer Electronics Expo is growing, with new manufacturer sales representative firms working cooperatively to host this event.

According to the Expo, the goal is to provide over 100 manufacturers the opportunity to meet with as many dealers as possible.

Venues in both Seattle and Portland have been moved to accommodate the need for a larger space. In Seattle, the Expo will continue to be centrally located at Seatac airport. The Portland Expo has been moved to Tigard and is just off the I-5 interchange. This move was to reduce commute times for most dealers who want to attend the event, thereby increasing attendance.

“Our plan for 2014 is to build on the success of our inaugural event earlier in 2013,” said Dan McMillan of In Phase Marketing.

“The move to an earlier date for the 2014 Expo was a result of a lot of feedback from the dealers and vendors who attended our June 2013 venues. All agreed that April was the perfect month to host this event in terms of its timing relative to CEDIA, InfoComm, MERA, SEMA, and CES,” stated Mark Giovannetti, president of Pacific Rim NW Marketing.
