Paragon Named Harman Dealer of the Year

Achieving success as a dealer and maintaining high sales performance can be difficult in these challenging economic times. However, Harman’s High Performance AV Group has made dealer support central to its growth strategy for the JBL Synthesis, Revel, Lexicon, and Mark Levinson brands.

A growing partnership between Harman and Aspen-based dealer, Paragon Technology Group, has been a result of this campaign. The firm was recently named “High Performance Audio & Video Dealer of the Year” by the Elkhart, Indiana-based manufacturer.

Paragon carries products from the JBL Synthesis, Revel, and Mark Levinson brands. For its home theater clients, the dealer has committed to selling JBL Synthesis products and has designated Revel as a predominant speaker for everything from in-wall/in-ceiling to high-end in-room speakers. For Paragon, the Mark Levinson brand has become a preferred solution for audiophiles.

Minimizing the number of manufacturers and creating repetition for installers, Paragon has made it faster for clients to perform installs with fewer errors as the familiarity of the line grows. Harman combines the benefits of carrying multiple brands with the operational efficiency of dealing with one manufacturer.

The collaboration has been rewarding for both ends of this partnership. “Paragon provides feedback to all of us at Harman on how to be a better manufacturer,” Harman High Performance AV Group marketing manager, Phil McPhee, said. “We not only accept, but appreciate their responses toward us. Any information we receive from Paragon assists in our mission to adapt to the needs of customers.”

“Harman’s commitment to training is unmatched, as several Paragon staff members have traveled to the Harman facilities in Elkhart,” Marty added. “Their willingness to travel wherever needed to provide Paragon and our clients the best possible service is outstanding as well.”
