Educating architects, building designers, builders, and interior designers on ways to increase their business through home technology is top priority of one of Nashville, Tennessee’s top electronic systems contracting firms.
Recently, Matt Grant of Paragon Technology Group, received the Registered Outreach Instructor (ROI) designation from CEDIA, enabling him to deliver 11 courses approved for continuing education credit through the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD), the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
These ROI courses are part of CEDIA’s industry outreach efforts, designed to strengthen collaboration between electronic systems professionals and the design and build industry. As technology continues to grow and change at a rapid pace, the courses that Paragon offers assist design and build professionals better understand the capabilities of residential electronic systems. The courses are provided at no charge by Paragon Technology Group.
“Paragon has always valued our relationships with architects, building designers, builders, and interior designers, and we’re pleased to be able to assist with their continuing education,” Grant commented. “As technology evolves, it is important for design & build professionals to be aware of the capabilities homeowners demand.”
Tennessee-based chapters of industry partner associations, such as AIA, AIBD, ASID and NARI are encouraged to contact Paragon to take advantage of this free education. Courses cover such topics as hiding technology, planning for residential electronics systems, and home theater design.
