Las Vegas-based 24/7/365 remote support provider Parasol has established a new east coast headquarters inside Gather RVA, a co-working space in Richmond, VA that offers collaborative space, private offices and conference rooms for freelancers, entrepreneurs and teams.
Parasol also announced two key hires, including Mark Polansky, senior applications specialist, and Tamra Johnson, office manager. Johnson will work out of the Parasol West offices in Las Vegas, while Polansky will grow the Parasol East facility in Richmond.
Mark Polansky’s knowledge in the industry goes as far back as age 13, helping his father install cable and satellite television and internet for residential customers. His most recent experience includes 12 years as service engineer with Livewire, a Henrico-based technology integrator. Livewire’s CEO, Henry Clifford (and Residential Systems columnist), is one of Parasol’s co-founders.
Tamra Johnson comes to Parasol with 20 years of management experience across multiple industries. She’s managed a wide-range of initiatives in executive roles. She most recently worked for Alarmco, a major security industry service provider.
