Edmond, OK–Petra Industries, a national wholesale distributor of consumer electronic, custom installation products, mobile audio/video accessories, and appliance connection supplies recently announced the appointment of Paul Mattes as 12-volt merchandising manager.
In this position, Mattes is responsible for leading Petras mobile audio/video, marine audio, car alarm, radar detector, and 12-volt accessories purchasing.
Pauls managerial and industry experience are vital as Petra continues to grow. His ability to understand the ever-changing 12 Volt industry impressed us immediately, said Tate Morgan, executive vice president. Mattes brings 26 years of industry experience to the already well-qualified merchandising team at Petra. His successful career includes an extensive consumer electronics background in management positions at such major retailers as Macys and Target as well as a combined 13 years of wholesale distributing and Internet sales experience.
