The PowerHouse Alliance of distribution companies has added Sierra Select Distributing and The Dorrance Supply Company, increasing its number of strategically located warehouses around the U.S. to 35.
Sierra Select Distributing is a 30-plus-year-old company, based in Northern California with an additional location in San Francisco. Sierra covers both the Northern California and northern Nevada areas. In addition to its consumer electronics/custom installation products division, Sierra also distributes mobile audio, home appliances, and several upscale lines of outdoor cooking products.
Dorrance Supply is a 75-plus-year-old third-generation company with locations in Youngstown, OH, and Indianapolis. It also features consumer electronics/custom installation products and a second division featuring several name-brand white goods vendors. Dorrance Supply’s total marketing territory includes Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
