With Q4 just around the corner, the distributor members of the PowerHouse Alliance are calling on top manufacturers in the consumer electronics space to expose dealers to new products they may see and interact with at CEDIA later this fall.
From day-long expos highlighting the latest in residential AV to advanced programming training, PowerHouse members are running full speed ahead into fall showing off the latest and greatest for dealers.
“With CEDIA EXPO happening later in the fall this year, as a group, we wanted to keep dealers engaged and give them opportunities to interface with manufacturers and get a preview of all the new products before the show,” said Dennis Holzer, executive director of the PowerHouse Alliance.
“Our members have been collecting direct dealer feedback and are responding by getting in-demand vendors to their training rooms and at their fall shows across the country.”
Audio America, a PowerHouse member covering the Southeastern U.S., will host local dealers at its annual Fall Show to be held in Atlanta, GA, on Saturday, September 12. With more than 50 manufacturer representatives from both the residential and commercial A/V spaces, attendees will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and network with industry leaders.
Houston, Texas-based member ECD will celebrate its 55th anniversary inside its newly renovated headquarters in Houston on September 17. The established distributor has remodeled its main location to meet their dealers’ needs and showcase products in a new and interactive way. ECD invites dealers to the new facility and enjoy live music alongside local food and beverages.
Alliance member 21st Century Distributing is also celebrating a major milestone with the opening of its new Nashville, TN-area location. This will bring the distributor up to five dedicated locations and bring the Alliance to 38 total locations nationwide. The 21st Century Distributing team will open the doors at 871 Seven Oaks Boulevard, Suite 200, in Symrna, TN, in September.
Fellow Alliance members Mountain West and C.E.D. will both open their doors to dealers and manufacturers on September 29. Mountain West plans to give its dealers a true CEDIA preview with its Home A/V and Security Open House at its Denver, CO, location, while C.E.D. will kick off its annual Fall Ball event series at its Northbrook, IL, headquarters that same day and move on to its Wisconsin location the following day.
“Over the past 16 years, our Fall Ball has earned a permanent place on our dealers’ event calendars because of the interactions they are able to have with manufacturers,” said Avery Baron, president of C.E.D. “This year, we are hosting separate events at all three of our locations, so new and existing dealers from across our five-state territory can come in and take advantage of the exclusive deals and pricing we offer once a year.”
